Terms of Use

1. ACCEPTANCE

These Terms of Use govern the use of the DADA online store (www.dada-duo.com), owned by Florence Aguiar Dagostini – Comércio de Armarinhos e Serviços de Marketing, a legal entity headquartered at Rua Juvenal de Almeida, 40 – Alto da Lapa, ZIP Code 05468-090, registered under CNPJ/MF No. 14.289.171/0001-97. Please read carefully.

Access to the DADA website is granted to individuals and legal entities upon completion of user registration and acceptance of these Terms. Acceptance occurs when the user clicks the button “I AGREE WITH THE TERMS OF USE AND THE PRIVACY POLICY FOR USING THE DADA WEBSITE” at the end of the Registration section, expressing full and unconditional agreement with these Terms.

Users under the age of 18 may register and use the website only with representation or assistance from their legal guardians, who shall be responsible for any unlawful acts committed by the minor in connection with registration, use of the website, or purchases.

If the user does not agree with any of the terms and conditions set forth herein, they must not complete registration or use the website. Use of the website is also conditioned upon acceptance of the Privacy Policy.

DADA may amend these Terms of Use at any time in order to improve its services, by notifying users through publication of an updated version on the website or by sending an email containing a link to the updated Terms. Direct notification by email shall not be mandatory.

2. PURPOSE

DADA is an online store offering handcrafted pieces produced to order by the visual artist Florence Dagostini.

All models displayed on the website are made upon request, according to the following production timelines:

  • Throws (mantas): produced within 20 (twenty) days
  • Rugs (tapetes): produced within 50 (fifty) days

In addition to the production timeline, the estimated delivery timeframe will be informed at the time of purchase. Shipping is outsourced and available throughout Brazil.

Payment is made at the time of order/purchase via PagSeguro®. DADA does not collect or store any payment-related data.

3. EXCHANGES AND RETURNS

3.1 Purchases Made in Brazil

The user may request an exchange or return of a DADA item within 7 (seven) calendar days from receipt, in accordance with the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code.

To qualify for exchange or return, the item must be in perfect condition: clean, unused, free of odors, unaltered, with the original tag intact and in its original packaging.

Attention:

For throws, both exchanges and returns are free of charge to the customer, under the conditions described below.

However, for rugs (which are custom-made for each client), in the event of cancellation or return due to change of mind, 50% (fifty percent) of the purchase value will be retained to cover raw material and labor costs.

EXCHANGES (Brazil)

To request an exchange, the user must email oi@dada-duo.com with the subject line “EXCHANGE,” including full name, CPF number, and order number.

Within 2 (two) business days, we will reply with a prepaid shipping code for the first exchange.

Upon receipt and inspection of the item, a store credit coupon equivalent to the returned item’s value will be issued. The coupon must be used within 30 (thirty) days from issuance; otherwise, it will expire.

The first exchange includes free shipping. Shipping costs will apply starting from the second exchange.

If the new purchase exceeds the original value, the difference must be paid at checkout.

If the new purchase is lower than the original value:

  • Payments made via bank slip (boleto): refund to a bank account under the purchaser’s name within 7 business days.
  • Payments made via credit card: refund issued to the card statement within up to 2 billing cycles.

RETURNS (Brazil)

To request a return, the user must email oi@dada-duo.com with the subject line “RETURN,” including full name, CPF number, and order number.

Within 2 (two) business days, return instructions will be provided.

After receipt and inspection of the item:

  • Payments via bank slip (boleto): refund to a bank account under the purchaser’s name within 7 business days.
  • Payments via credit card: refund issued within up to 2 billing cycles.

3.2 International Purchases (Outside Brazil)

For orders shipped outside Brazil, the following conditions apply:

DADA is a micro-business with a lean structure and made-to-order artisanal production. For this reason, we unfortunately do not accept exchanges or returns for international purchases due to change of mind or cancellation. All international sales are final.

Refunds or reshipments will be offered exclusively in the following cases:

  • Manufacturing defect
  • Item damaged during transportation
  • Incorrect item received

Customers must inspect their order immediately upon receipt and notify us of any issue within 14 (fourteen) calendar days from the delivery date by emailing oi@dada-duo.com, including:

  • Order number
  • Detailed description of the issue
  • Clear photos documenting the problem

After review, if a defect or error is confirmed, DADA will provide an appropriate solution (partial refund, reshipment, or another suitable resolution).

Shipping costs are non-refundable, except in cases of confirmed error on DADA’s part.

4. Taxes, Duties and Customs (International Purchases)

Prices displayed on the website already include applicable import taxes, customs duties, or local charges in the destination country. No additional taxes will be charged upon delivery.

DADA is not responsible for delays resulting from customs procedures in the destination country.
